Lily commenced dancing at the age of 2 and now, with over 22 years of dance training and 14 years of teaching experience, she is devoted to sharing her love and understanding of the art to students of all ages and abilities. Her extensive training includes Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Ballet, Acrobatics and Musical Theater. She also danced competitively for 10yrs in groups, solos, duets and trios. Although Lily prides herself on being a versatile teacher, choreographer and performer, she is particularly interested in teaching jazz, commercial and hip hop. As for teaching qualifications, Lily holds a CSTD Teachers Certificate in Modern Jazz and is eager to continue her professional development in the field.
After graduating, Lily enhanced her skill set by engaging in promotional work involving elements of dancing, modeling and entertaining. Her most recent achievements involve collaborating with local designers and event planners to both choreograph and model in multiple, successful runway shows. Internationally, Lily has performed in the United States (touring venues such as Disneyland & Universal Studios), and in 2019 she was given the opportunity to conduct dance workshops at a fellow Comdance studio in Chennai, India.
Lily is passionate about creating a welcoming and inclusive space for all dancers. She understands the diverse needs of each individual and comes prepared with a variety of tailored, teaching techniques that allow her students to thrive under her guidance.
