THE Annette Roselli Ballet Academy was established in May 2000.
It is based at Moreton Bay College in Manly West and follows the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus.
Classes are run on a regular basis with students divided according to age, dance category and standard.
Director Annette Roselli said this enabled each student to progress at a rate specifically designed for them.
“Not only are the classes fun to be part of, but they also help develop co-ordination, fitness, a sense of rhythm, musicality and expression, as well as promote self-discipline, boost confidence and improve posture,” Ms Roselli said.
“As each student has individual goals, the studio is structured so that they may become as involved as they wish.
“We cater for those who wish to dance for fun and also for those who would like to pursue a career in the theatre.”
The studio offers classical ballet from three years to advanced, jazz ballet, tap, musical theatre, exam and eisteddfod work (optional) and adult ballet, jazz and tap.
Ms Roselli trained in New Zealand and at the Royal Ballet School in London.
