Brisbane born Tracey Carrodus trained with the Queensland Ballet School and received an Associate Diploma in Dance from the Queensland University of Technology. She spent six years dancing with Brisbane-based Expressions Dance Company before joining Sydney Dance Company in 1996 where she was Principal for nearly 14 years. Tracey has performed extensively throughout the world during her 20 year career. Since retiring at the end of 2007 Tracey now mentors a new generation of professional and pre-professional dancers throughout Australia as well as restaging Graeme Murphy works. Her greatest achievement is being a Mum to her daughter and son.
